Responsibilities/Duties

VSI (Vonachen Services Inc) is looking to fill a warehouse position at a facility in S.W. Rock Island, IL. Job duties include, but are not limited to running a sweeper/scrubber to clean factory floors, using a forklift to pick up trash hampers and operating an industrial powered vehicle / motorized power jacks to move material throughout the plant.

Required Skills

Power industrial vehicle experience is preferred, but can train.

This position will require an employee to operate a motorized pallet jack. Also the applicant needs to be able to work in a cold enviroment-such as a freezer. Proper coveralls for the cold enviroment will be provided.

The applicant will be operating a power industrial vehicle to remove pallets, boxes, banding, plastic from the shop floor. The applicant will also assist with some industrial cleaning.

Applicant must be reliable and have an eye for detail. The position will include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, a lot of walking and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements as needed.

Details

Steel toe shoes are required.

Looking for full time (3rd shift). 10 hour shifts, The work schedule is Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (8PM-6:30AM).

This position will require an employee to operate a motorized pallet jack and is able to work in a cold environment- such as a freezer. Proper coveralls will be provided. Pay rate is $16/hr, daily pay is now available. Full time benefits to include medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k) and STD.
