Responsibilities
VSI (Vonachen Services Inc) is looking to fill a supervisor position at a heavy industrial account in Des Moines, IA. Essential responsibilities of this position will include training, coaching, quality control, and ensuring that safety procedures are followed. Reinforce all safety policies, including accident prevention and investigations. Also, this is a "working" supervisor position so the person will be supervising as well as helping to complete daily tasks.
Skills Required
Successful candidates will have 2-4 years of supervisory experience, a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, fork truck experience and ability to motivate employees to do their very best. Also key is the ability to pass a background check and drug screen, work independently, the possession of personal initiative and strong customer service skills. Basic computer knowledge is a plus but not mandatory for consideration of this position.
Additional Details
The pay rate is $13/hour with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), STD, LTD and vacation. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
