VSI is looking to fill two skilled laborer positions in the East Peoria, IL area.
There is a $100 bonus potential for attendance every 30 days if requirements are met.
Responsibilities
Project Objective: Provide 2 painters from the hours of 1:30pm-10:00pm. Mon-Fri.
a. This scope of work is for 4 months of labor with the option of extension
b. regular and OT hours required.
c. All painting supplies and man lift will be provided by Caterpillar. Work with project manager for list of materials needed.
d. All safety PPE and training be provided by contractor doing the work
e. All personal will be required to keep records in CMMS system (Caterpillar supplied).
f. All personal must be lift trained and ready to work
g. In the event one person is sick or on vacation, Caterpillar requests the need for fill in
h. Caterpillar reserves the right to ask for overtime if needed for certain projects due to time constraints. This will be an hourly billable cost by the contractor to Caterpillar.
i. Painting examples: Fire Hydrants, Building Columns, Wall Paint, Exterior and Interior ladders, Eye Wash Stations, and Exterior roof fans.
At the completion of each day's work, the work areas shall be clean of all debris.
All areas assigned to the contractor including work areas, storage area, etc., must be kept clean, orderly & free of debris, material, tools, etc., that present unsafe working conditions. Materials must be stored in a manner to eliminate fire hazards, unsafe stacking, blockage of open aisles, etc.; the housekeeping must be maintained on a continuous basis until the work is complete. At the completion of the job, the work area, storage area & adjacent areas must be cleaned up & all excess materials, tools, equipment, & all remaining debris must be removed & disposed of properly
Skills Required
This is a manufacturing painting position that will require background and drug test. The position will require the use of lifts- forklift, scissor lift etc.. Pay fo this poistion is $17 an hour
