Responsibilities
DSI (Diversified Services for Industry), a Vonachen Family company, is looking to fill a supervisor of Industrial services position at a manufacturing building in Dubuque,IA.
Essential responsibilities of this position will include training, coaching, quality control, scheduling, and ensuring that safety procedures are followed. This position will be the front line customer contact for our accounts and so strong relationship management skills are required. Assign and document completion all work assignment per scope of work for 10 person Industrial Cleaning crew.Institute and carrou of all Safet functions for the scope of work. Follow up throughout shift on all assigned work, complete all required forms and send daily reports to the management team, receive and schedule all incoming requests, Some tasks require working on Saturdays along with performing snow removal, sidewalk clearing and salting during all snow events during the winter months.
Flexibility in working hours is important as this position will require availability during first shift for customer relations, though the majority of the duties will occur on second shift.
Skills Required
Successful candidates will have 2-4 years of supervisory experience, a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, fork truck experience and ability to motivate employees to do their very best.Fast learner, good knowledge of hand tools, vehicle operations and minor repairs along with being safety oriented. Also key is the ability to pass a background check and drug screen, work independently, the possession of personal initiative and strong customer service skills.Additional Details
The pay rate is $16/hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), STD, LTD and vacation/holidays.
