Responsibilities
DSI (Diversified Services for Industry), a Vonachen Family company, is looking to fill a supervisor position in a manufacturing environment in Forest City, IA.Essential responsibilities of this position will include training, coaching, quality control, scheduling, and ensuring that safety procedures are followed. This position will be the front line customer contact for our accounts and so strong relationship management skills are required. Flexibility in working hours is important as this position will require availability during first shift for customer relations, though the majority of the duties will occur on second shift.
Skills Required
Successful candidates will have 2-4 years of supervisory experience, a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, fork truck experience and ability to motivate employees to do their very best. Also key is the ability to pass a background check, work independently, the possession of personal initiative and strong customer service skills. Must pass a background check and drug screen.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a requirement for this position, and a mileage reimbursement is part of the compensation package. Interested candidates should
have a high school diploma, some college or equivalent work experience is preferred. Experience motivating and coaching employees is required. Account Management/Customer
Services skills are paramount. Experience providing cleaning services in industrial settings is a plus.
Additional Details
The pay rate is $18 / hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), STD, LTD and vacation/holidays.
Full Time, 2nd shift but may have some first shift work duties.
A company laptop and cell phone will be provided.
