Responsibilities
VSI is looking to fill Fork Truck Operator positions at an industrial location in Pontiac, IL. This position is primarily responsible for material throughout the plant, unloading/loading trucks, picking up empty skids/tubs, all while maintaining a safe environment.
Skills Required
Fork truck operator certification required. Ability to quickly learn the layout of the plant, and extreme care for safety in driving and operating the fork truck is paramount. Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, as well as comfort working in an environment which may have large temperature variation will be important. Comfort with repetitive and physical work is very important. Employees may be required to lift up to 40 pounds and will be required to stand, sit, stoop and bend throughout the day.
Additional Details
The work schedule(s) for these positions are: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. Must be available for overtime and weekends. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), STD, vacation and holidays.
