Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individuals to join our team as a Recycling Technician in Newbern, TN. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and has reliable transportation. Successful candidates will have an excellent work ethic with strong attention to detail.Skills Required
As a recycling technician, your primary responsibilities include sorting and properly disposing of materials. You collect and organize metals, glass, wood, paper, plastic, electronics, and more into their appropriate containers. You unload and load recyclables on trucks and may clean materials as needed for recycling requirements. Other duties include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, power lifts, and other heavy equipment. You may be in charge of cutting products with saws, blowtorches, and other power tools so they can be disposed of correctly.Additional Details
The position will include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, a lot of walking and lifting up to 40 pounds.
A criminal background check, results of which are not necessarily a bar to employment is required.
