Vonachen Group is looking to add a Manager of Education and Employee Engagement to our company! This role is responsible for successfully coordinating all employee training, both formal in-person courses and programs housed within our learning management system. Additionally, this person be responsible for the management of the Company’s employee engagement program to include our rewards and recognition program.
The Manager of Education and Employee Engagement will partner with internal safety, human resources, and operations to develop and implement training programs that meet regulatory compliance, customer needs, and support the goals of the Vonachen Group. In coordination with the CHRO and COO, this person will administer the education program and assign qualified personnel to teach and design training courses that bring value to the Company and the trainee.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, functions, and activities relating to training and employee engagement to include continuing education
- Responsibility for administering and updating the employee ICAP process
- Design, administer, and manage the employee rewards and recognition program
- Strong commitment to service delivery and quality standards
- Identify changing trends within the industry and implement programs to address
- Ability to establish and maintain effective lines of communication with stakeholders
- Ability to solve challenging problems while maintaining a high degree of professionalism

- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a formal training or adult education trainer certificate program (will consider experience in lieu of education)
- 5+ years multi-unit administration of training, employee engagement and rewards programs
- Knowledge of best practices as it relates to training and engagement platforms
- Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for long periods of time
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Occasional overnight travel is required
