ResponsibilitiesVSI (Vonachen Services Inc), a Vonachen Family company, is looking a Maintenance Specialist. This position is located in Corinth, MS.
Under limited supervision, performs a variety of semi-skilled work for the maintenance and repairs. This position is charged with prioritizing work schedule, maintain adequate and accurate work orders and provides technical assistance to the Manager/Supervisor as directed.
The following are required:
Must be able to operate a Man Lift.
Must be able to operate a forklift.
Able to use small hand tools.
Operate a scrubber when required.
Communicates concerns to the Manager.
Follow and observe all safety and environmental policies.
This person should have Lock out/ Tag out training.
Be able to clean ceiling vents, walls and change fan filters are required.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
Communicates to his/her supervisor any identified regulatory violations and associated corrective actions taken.
Participates in meetings as requested by his/her supervisor.
Operate independently with little or no supervision.
Periodic lifting requirements in excess of 50 lbs. Ability to stand and walk on uneven and varied terrain, climb ladders and stairs, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch and crawl depending on the task requirements.
Exposure to extremes in temperature and weather conditions depending upon assigned location.
There is a strong emphasis on safety while working with heavy equipment and machinery.
A criminal background check and a drug screen, results of which are not necessarily a bar to employment are required.
