Responsibilities
VSI (Vonachen Services Inc) is looking to fill a warehouse position at a facility in S.W. Rock Island, IL. Job duties include, but are not limited to running a sweeper/scrubber to clean factory floors, using a forklift to pick up trash hampers and operating an industrial powered vehicle / motorized power jacks to move material throughout the plant.Skills Required
Power industrial vehicle experience is preferred. Applicant must be reliable and have an eye for detail. The position will include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, a lot of walking and lifting up to 40 pounds. Must pass a background check and drug screen.Additional Details
Metal Tarsal shoes are required.
Pay rate is $15 an hour with full benefits to include medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k) and STD.
This position will require an employee to operate a motorized pallet jack and is able to work in a cold environment- such as a freezer. Proper coveralls will be provided. Such applicant/employee will be operating a power industrial vehicle to remove boxes, banding, plastic from shop floor. Along with some industrial cleaning. This position is a floater position trained to cover all shifts in the event of an absence. Floater will also be trained as a floor technician to keep a regular schedule.
