VSI (Vonachen Services Inc), a Vonachen family company, is looking to fill a 2nd shift Supervisor role on at a manufacturing facility in Pontiac, IL.
The Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person acts as a liaison between clients and managers when the manager is not present. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all assigned duties/task per facility SOW
- Encourages, redirects, corrects, and documents employee performance as appropriate
- Aids co-workers as appropriate to meet customer demands and appropriate timelines; coordinates cleaning of restricted access areas to perform necessary cleaning
- Trains employees into specialized areas and periodic assignments and documents training
- Participate and provide feedback and insight pertaining to all OSHA, Company, Customer and Site-Specific Safety Guidelines and Processes
- Prepare Confined Space Permits; initiate and confirm LOTO of equipment
- Track all work and provide documentation as required; prepare timekeeping and EOS reports
- Conduct Quality Assurance Audits on completed task and ensure corrective measures are implemented for all deficiencies
Skills Required
Skills and Abilities
- Must be 18 years or older and a valid driver's license and clean MVR
- Must have reliable transportation
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Possesses good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong detail orientation
- Customer-oriented and friendly
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Some experience with performing administrative tasks is required
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for long periods of time
- Repeat the same movements
- Frequent bending and twisting
- Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Additional Details
- 2nd Shift- Monday- Friday
- Gain knowledge other shifts for potential coverage
- Weekends required (rotating schedules)
- $20/hr-$25/hr with overtime potential
