DSI (Diversified Services for Industry) is looking to fill a janitor position at a healthcare facility in Rochelle, IL.
Responsibilities
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub floors.
Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, brass, and other interior fixtures.
Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
Clean and empty trash cans.
Sweep entryways, empty exterior cigarette urns and empty trashcans immediately outside building entrances.
Clean restrooms, plunger sinks and toilets, and replenish supplies.
Organize and supply custodial closets as needed.
Move, remove, and/or setup furniture, furnishings, supplies, equipment, and any other items, inside specified rooms for special functions as directed.
Follow prescribed safety regulations and informs management of potential risks or hazards.
Complete work requests to notify management of needed repair work
Remove snow and ice and apply salt and/or ice melting products to assigned areas.
Make minor repairs such as, but not limited specifically to, replacing sweeper belts or removing light fixture covers as required.
Other duties as directed by Supervisor.
Must be willing to learn new procedures and techniques for completing tasks during training sessions
Skills Required
Applicant must be reliable and have an eye for detail. The position will include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, a lot of walking and lifting up to 40 pounds. Must pass a background check and drug screen.Additional Details
The pay rate is $12.00/hour.The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM and one Saturday per month.
