DSI (Diversified Services for Industry), a Vonachen Family company, is looking to fill a janitor position at a day care facility in Rockford, IL.
Responsibilities
Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub floors.Clean and empty trash cans.
Clean restrooms, plunger sinks and toilets, and replenish supplies.
Organize and supply custodial closets as needed.
Move, remove, and/or setup furniture, furnishings, supplies, equipment, and any other items, inside specified rooms for special functions as directed.
Follow prescribed safety regulations and informs management of potential risks or hazards.
Other duties as directed by Supervisor.
Must be willing to learn new procedures and techniques for completing tasks during training sessions
Skills Required
- No janitorial experience required, we provide on the job training
- Successful candidates will have strong attention to detail, be flexible on occasion and are able to work independently
- Able to meet physical requirements, such as lifting, bending and standing for duration of shift
- Clean background check and drug screen
Additional Details
The pay rate is $10.00/hour.
The schedule for this position is 6:00 PM - 10.00 PM, Mon-Fri.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
