Responsibilities
VSI (Vonachen Services Inc) is looking to fill an Assistant Facility manager position at a heavy industrial facility in Mapleton, IL. This position will be responsible for the training and development of hourly staff, maintaining VSI and customer standards of cleaning, and managing supplies. This position will also be responsible for making sure all special requests from the customer are addressed and communicating this to the Area Manager as well as the customer. The position will be responsible for the safety and well-being of hourly staff on a daily basis as well as provide ongoing safety training and training on VSI policies and procedures. Attendance tracking and performance improvement coaching are other key responsibilities of this position.Skills Required
Successful candidates must be able to communicate effectively both in writing and through verbal communication and have excellent customer service skills. Must be able to work independently and be able to make decisions quickly and effectively to ensure the cleanliness of the building while also keeping labor and supplies on budget. This is a working supervisor position. Will be expected to fill in the event of absences, vacations etc.Additional Details
The pay rate is $14/hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), STD, LTD, vacation/holidays.Full-time, 1st shift.
