DSI (Diversified Services for Industry) is looking to fill an Area Operations Manager that will oversee janitorial staff at several locations in the Peru/Ottawa, IL area.
Responsibilities
- Providing leadership, management, and direction to 20+ DSI employees in several facilities
- Managing and overseeing operations support in janitorial cleaning and related functions
- Maintaining health and safety standards for the safety of all in the workplace
- Maintaining a positive employee experience
- Assessing and managing staffing in partnership with Human Resources
- Developing and coaching employees at all levels
- Managing and developing the customer relationship
- Ensuring strong financial performance
Skills Required
- Open to flexible hours including daytime and weekends
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a requirement for this position, and mileage reimbursement is part of the compensation package
- A high school diploma, some college or equivalent work experience is preferred
- Experience motivating and coaching employees is required
- Account Management/Customer Services skills such as familiarity with P&L and Labor reports
- Mircosoft Suite and timekeeping software experience is preferred
- Retail, restaurant, and hospitality industry experience encouraged to apply
- Clean background check and drug screen
Additional Details
- $42,000 year plus quarterly bonus eligibility. Mileage reimbursement is also a part of the compensation package.
